I am a born and raised Bakersfield native of 35 years. I love this community and all the wonderful opportunities
it offers. My husband of nearly 15 years and I have a family business and 7 1/2 year old son. I pride myself in
being active in my community and my son's school. I have an absolute love of the arts, photography and dancing being
my main focus, though graphic design is what I do everyday. I find relaxation in gardening and music, and look forward to
all life has to offer. I feel humbled and nervous as I am Mrs Bakersfield 2010, knowing that I am an example to young
ladies everywhere. But I find it comforting to know that I was raised by parents who have instilled in me the tool that
I hope to show the youth of today. I look forward to the next year and all it has to offer. Life is meant to be
lived, and I plan to make the most of every minute, living by this rule.....
